Terms and Conditions for Property Listings

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the submission and management of property listings on the South East London Estate Agents platform. By submitting a property for sale or rent, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our property listing services.

2. Responsibilities of Property Owners

As the property owner or authorised representative, you are responsible for ensuring that all information provided in the listing is accurate, complete, and not misleading. This includes but is not limited to:



  • Providing correct property details such as size, number of rooms, and features
  • Ensuring legal compliance (e.g., obtaining required certificates)
  • Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

3.Required Documentation

You must provide all relevant and up-to-date documentation for the property, including but not limited to:


  • Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
  • Floor plans (if available)


If you do not currently possess an EPC, you must agree to obtain one promptly in accordance with UK property regulations.

4. Property Listings on Third-Party Platforms

By submitting your property, you grant South East London Estate Agents permission to use your property information, including descriptions and photos, on third-party platforms (e.g., Zoopla, Rightmove). You confirm that all images and media you provide are either your own or you have permission to use them.

5. Listing Duration

Property listings will remain active for the period specified at the time of submission. If you wish to extend or relist your property after this period, additional fees may apply. We may contact you prior to expiry to offer renewal options where applicable.

6. Compliance with UK Laws

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your property complies with all applicable laws and regulations in England and Wales. This includes, but is not limited to:


  • Health and safety compliance
  • Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) regulations
  • Tenant Fees Act 2019 (for lettings)
  • Right to Rent checks (for lettings)#
  • Gas Safety and Electrical Safety regulations



We reserve the right to request proof of compliance at any time.

7. Removal of Listings

South East London Estate Agents reserves the right to remove any property listing that:


  • Breaches these Terms and Conditions
  • Contains false, inaccurate, or misleading information
  • Violates UK law or regulatory requirements



You may also request to have your listing removed at any time by contacting us directly.

8. Fees and Payments

All fees for property listings and additional services (e.g., premium marketing, photography, virtual tours) are outlined in your individual service agreement or as published on our website. By using our services, you agree to pay the applicable fees promptly.


Failure to make payment may result in the suspension or removal of your property listing and associated services.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we make every reasonable effort to market your property, we do not guarantee its sale or rental. South East London Estate Agents shall not be held liable for:


  • Delays in sale or lettin

  • Disputes with buyers, tenants, or third parties
  • Financial loss or damage resulting from the listing or marketing of your property


Use of our platform and services is at your own risk.

10. Data Protection

All personal information provided through your property listing is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your personal information and using it only for the purposes agreed upon.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update or modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of our services after updates have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
